MANTRA TIBETANA OM ॐ AUM

Om es un mantra o vibración, que tradicionalmente se canta al principio y al final de las sesiones de yoga. Viniendo desde el hinduismo y el yoga, este mantra se considera que tiene un alto poder espiritual y creativo. Es a la vez un sonido y un símbolo rico en significado y profundidad, es la combinación de lo físico con lo espiritual. Pronunciado correctamente suena como AUM.

AUM SE COMPONE DE CUATRO ELEMENTOS: A, U, M, Y EL CUARTO ELEMENTO, QUE ES EL SILENCIO

El primer sonido es A, que se pronuncia como una prolongada “AH”. El sonido se inicia en la parte posterior de la garganta. Al pronunciarlo, podrás sentir tu plexo solar y el pecho vibrando.
El segundo sonido es la U, que se pronuncia como una prolongada “oo”. El sonido transfiere suavemente la vibración a la parte trasera de la boca, pudiendo sentir esta vibración también en la garganta.
El tercer elemento es M, y se pronuncia como una prolongada “mmmm” con los dientes delanteros tocando suavemente. La vibración se siente ahora en la boca y en toda la cabeza.
El último elemento es el silencio profundo del Infinito. Al pronunciarlo hace cerrar los labios, que es como cerrar la puerta del mundo exterior y volcarnos hacia dentro de nosotros mismos.
Simbólicamente, las tres letras encarnan la energía divina (Shakti) y sus 3 aspectos elementales: creación (Bhrahma Shakti), preservación (Vishnu Shakti) y liberación (Shiva Shakti)

¿POR QUÉ CANTAR EL OM?

que-es-omTodo en el universo está vibrando – ¡nada está realmente quieto! El sonido Om, al ser cantado, vibra a la frecuencia de 432 Hz, que es la misma frecuencia de vibración de todo lo encontrado en la naturaleza.

Om es el sonido básico del universo, de modo que al cantarlo, estamos simbólica y físicamente sintonizando con ese sonido y reconociendo nuestra conexión con todos los seres vivos, la naturaleza y el universo.

Además, las vibraciones y la pronunciación rítmica también tienen un efecto físico sobre el cuerpo, ya que ralentiza el sistema nervioso y calma la mente, un efecto similar a la meditación. Cuando la mente se relaja, la presión arterial disminuye, mejorando la salud de tu corazón.
