A courier van has driven through a steel barrier and ended up in a North Shore storm drain today.
Deliveries may be delayed. Delayed and slightly wet...
The van landed on its side in the Target Street drain in Wairau Valley about midday.
The driver escaped injury.
A crane was needed to lift the vehicle out after the hiab was found to be too light to remove the van.
